Google Reader.Kitchen.Mom.Mattresses

The very first thing that I'm going to address is "Google Reader". It's my new thing (found on someone else's blog), and I LOVE it...almost as much as I love Cherry Coke. Anyway, if you read more than one blog (or several like I do), you must MUST sign up at Google Reader (this is my first link in one of my blogs...I feel so validated as a blogger). Instead of clicking on every blog that you read individually, it gives you an update on all of them at once. Possibly, I'm the only one here that hasn't already signed up, but I couldn't help but share!

We headed to the new house to take some pictures and see the new cabinets. The cabinets are in the kitchen (a step in the right direction), but they aren't installed...yet. Here are some pics:

I want to send a big shout out to my mom. She totally ROCKS and completely spoils me rotten! She came over yesterday (Saturday) around 10:00 AM and stayed until around 9:00 PM. She did ALL of our laundry (soooo helpful) and even put most of it away. Not only that, she played with the kids, picked up lunch, straightened the house, and washed dishes. Then, she came over again today (Sunday) to help again! I think she was wondering how the house went from looking straightened to a little crazy in a mere 17 hours...and most of that time we were sleeping and at church! Those of you who have kids know excatly what happened! Anyway, THANK YOU SO MUCH MOM! I love you, and I don't know what I would do without you. You're way more than a "73" in my book (inside joke)! You're more like a "99"...I mean you did leave a load of laundry in the dryer :) Just kidding!

We spent a portion of this afternoon purchasing mattresses for the girls along with mattress covers, mattress pads, pillow covers, and pillows. It was a slightly expensive day. The bedding came in last week (my mom pointed me to that as well...she knows how picky I am), and it is completely adorable. I can't wait to see how it looks after we paint the room and decorate! I've included a picture, but keep in mind, we didn't get all of the bells and whistles....just the essentials.
