Meredith (while holding Amelia's pacifier): "How 'bout we fight over this!"
(Claire ignores Meredith.)
Meredith: "Claire! How 'bout we fight over this!"
Me: "Meredith, why do you want to fight over something?"
Meredith: "So we can say, 'It's mine, it's mine!" "No mine! Mine!"

That sounds logical enough. Are your kids bored? Perhaps we need to get them some boxing gloves for the next round of "Let's Fight Over... (fill in the blank)!!"
