1. If you have kids, make them brush their teeth.
2. If you have kids who brush their teeth, make them do it twice a day.
3. If you have time, make them do it once more just for good measure.
4. Even if you're really good at making them do it once a day, and most days you squeeze in a second brushing, make a decision TODAY to make them always do it TWICE a day.
5. If you don't, you may end up with a $800 dental bill (after insurance...yikes!) for your 4 year old like a certain someone that I know...not mentioning any names.
Yesterday was Meredith's 4th birthday. We bought her a bike. It just might be the last gift that she'll receive until she's 9. Ok, I'm joking....12.

Yikes! That is a lot of $!
Thanks for the timely reminder. I haven't brushed Emitt's teeth yet (not that he has very many)
i heard this just last week from a girl that is in dental hygiene classes. "kids shouldn't brush their teeth by themselves until they are old enough to write their name in cursive."
Wow...I've heard 5-6 years old, but I definitely haven't heard the cursive age...I think that's 7 or 8!!
We typically let the girls brush their own in the morning, and at night we help and make sure everyone is brushed! I guess we'll have to supervise all 6 brushings that we'll be doing each day from now on :)!!
