pin.cushion

Here's my pincushion. I'm going to spellcheck this in a few minutes to see if pincushion is one word or two. It will be correct once this posts. Back to subject.

My mom has a pincushion with the sewing box that I kind of took from her. She doesn't use it, so I'm just trying to make use of the things that she doesn't use. I figure I'm doing her a favor. Back to subject.

So, she had a pincushion that I'm pretty sure that she made. I'm sure it was cute at the time, but it had definitely seen its better days. It was too sad to even post. Back to subject.

So, I found the cutest tutorial for a pincushion HERE and whipped this one up. I did it while we were on our girls' weekend. Some of the other girls liked them so well, that I whipped up 4 of them in one sitting and passed them around. Super easy project for those of you learning how to sew! I hope you get to make one!

You give me way too much credit on the origins of the sad little pincushion...

You may want to make some more of those up and sell them at craft shows along with the crayon rolls, bags, and tag blankets.
Love your creativity!

Jackie-Those are too cute. Joni and Deanna had told me about them and I have been wondering when you would post about them. I need to check out the link you gave. Can't wait to make one myself. Hope you have a great week! julie :)

Wasn't Mom's pin cushion in the shape of a tomato? Ha...if so, I remember that thing. BTW, how are you coming along with my pillow covers? Just checking.

Wow, I am not a sew-er (is that a word?). My mom tried to teach me to sew when I was young, but couldn't get the hang of it. Back to subject...

That is adorable!!!
