menu plan: august 2014
August. I have a love/hate relationship with August. It's still summer. School begins again. Our crazy summer schedule turns into our crazy school schedule. The thing that I love about the crazy school schedule, though, is how routine it is. I love the lack of routine when we begin summer. I hate the lack of routine at the end of summer. School = Routine. It makes me happy at the beginning of the year. :)
The August menu plan also gets me a bit excited because I know that the September plan is up next, which is when I start throwing soups back into the mix! Have I mentioned that I love soup?! It might be one of my favorite foods. Ever. (But not more favorite than cookies.)
Okay...on with it, already! (And I'm starting with August 5 because I just did the plan today, and I don't feel like digging into my memory box to try to remember what we've had for dinner the past 4 nights.)

24: frozen pizza/grilled tex-mex nacho packs
25: breakfast sandwiches
26: spaghetti and bread sticks
27: deer steaks
28: chicken manicotti (frozen from last month)
