We're still alive...we've just been hiding at the lake. Above, you'll notice that Amelia is "hiding". You might not be able to see her because she has her eyes covered, but trust me...she's there! :)

Now, we're home. Here's our last week in a nutshell:

-swimming (more than you even realize)
-boating
-playing
-eating (again more than you realize)
-3 meals out in the same week...gasp!
-one was a date night...gasp again! (LOVED it...thanks Mom and Dad for watching the girls!!)
-hanging with friends
-golfing
-hanging with Jill, Andrew, and Eden
-church picnic
-ordered homeschool curriculum :)
-woke up to Josh's truck not working (he thinks it might have something to do with it not being started for a week and a half...boo)

It was all good until the truck part. That's not so good. I guess we all need to be stretched now and then. This is our week. :)

What's with Claire and her funny one-liners these days? Today, we were at Target shopping for some salon products. Claire wanted to smell one of the bottles that was peach-scented. The question that followed:

"Mom, can I smell that one? That pink one with the peach or onion on it...whatever it is."

Onion? I don't think that one would be a big seller. Pretty sure it's a peach.

From Claire: "Mom! Did you see Amelia hopping like a frog??? It was SO funny. I laughed so hard that I dripped in my panties!!"

I'll take that kind of laughing every day...even if it means extra laundry.
