The other day, I was talking on the phone with my friend, Deanna.  We were discussing the upcoming primary elections.  I said, "Did I hear that they're changing the primaries?"  Claire immediately stops what she's doing, stares at me in shock, and asks, "They're changing the primary colors?!"

Unthinkable, isn't it?!

Amelia walked up to me carrying some kid scissors yesterday.  She hands them to me and says, "Mom, please put these up high so I don't get them." 

Good thing someone around here is watching out for her safety...it's obviously not her sisters or her mother. :)
